CRN Member Teletech Wins EU Presidency Business

The Danish member of the Congress Rental Network (CRN), the world’s leading association of congress equipment specialists, has won the EU presidency business for congress systems in Denmark.

Teletech will be the official technical provider of Denmark when it takes up the presidency of the EU in January 2012. Teletech delivers interpretation equipment, AV solutions and technical project management to conferences and meetings in the private and public sectors. Jan Reuther of Teletech said: “To be awarded the contract to provide services for the EU presidency is an exciting prospect. As one of the largest AV suppliers in Denmark our skilled staff have many years of experience and we look forward to providing a range of first class services to this project.”

CRN members have won the bid for European Union congress system services for the last five years. Its members have provided congress systems and AV services during the presidency of France, Czech Republic, Sweden, Spain, Belgium and Hungary.

Panagiotis Podimatas from PC Podimatas in Greece, chairperson of CRN, commented: “To provide congress systems services at the EU level is extremely complex as interpretative services are required in 27 languages. As a group of top companies delivering highly professional event, AV and interpretation services, we pride ourselves on maximum efficiency, optimum control and perfect sound reproduction for all types of events. It is a reflection on the quality of their work that our members have been winning this challenging contract for five years in a row.”
