GTA Signs Enhanced Distribution Agreement with Jumeirah
GTA, a global travel wholesaler and Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts have announced a new and enhanced multi-year distribution agreement. The new deal builds on an existing relationship and will see deeper and broader distribution of properties and room types across the Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts portfolio throughout the world. GTA’s global travel agency and tour operator customers can now access Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts inventory of over 4,200 rooms in real time. Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts will benefit from global distribution across GTA’s extensive network in 130 countries, and its 36-year track record in the travel distribution market. Since the beginning of 2011, Jumeirah has expanded its portfolio of hotels in Dubai, New York and London to include Jumeirah Himalayas Hotel Shanghai in China, Jumeirah Frankfurt in Germany, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray in Dubai, Jumeirah at Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi and Jumeirah Dhevanafushi in the Maldives. Further openings in Europe, the Middle East and Asia are scheduled for the first half of 2012, including properties in Spain, UK, Dubai, Kuwait, Azerbaijan and the Maldives, effectively doubling the number of hotels under management. |
