The ICC Birmingham Announces Three New International Wins

The ICC Birmingham has confirmed three new international conferences, set to boost the local economy by £4.8 million. The trio of global wins includes the 7th EMBO Meeting 2015, the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language Conference (IATEFL) 2016 and the SAE International, Powertrains, Fuels and Lubricants Meeting 2014.

The ICC Birmingham’s Account Director, Linda Best, said: “We are extremely pleased to be announcing three International conferences that have made the ICC and Birmingham their destination of choice, especially days ahead of this year’s IMEX.

“IMEX is a fantastic platform to meet potential new clients and showcase our city and venue. To have three prestigious International events recently confirmed is a great message for both the ICC and Birmingham.

“At the ICC, we are very fortunate to have a dedicated Associations team who have an in-depth understanding of this market and know what it takes to make an Association conference successful. We appreciate every event is unique. We work in partnership with our clients as part of their team to advise and consult and we encourage them to use our in-house expertise and knowledge to make sure they get the best out of their event.”
