Danish MINDblowing Meetings Concept Nominated for ICCA’s Best Marketing Award
VisitDenmark has been nominated for its international MINDblowing Meetings campaign and will be competing against Melbourne Convention Bureau, Palais des Congres de Montreal, Gdansk Convention Bureau/Gdansk Tourism Organizasation at the ICCA final in Shanghai on November 5th.
MINDblowing Meetings targets meeting planners and congress organisers worldwide, and its key narrative focuses on innovation, authenticity and the ‘Meetovation’ meeting design concept developed and actively implemented in Denmark – as well as on Denmark’s core competencies within the field of sustainable event management. The campaign creatively uses these key elements and tells the story about how the Danes strive to provide their clients with the highest return on meeting investment possible by staging; MINDblowing Meetings.
Anja Hartung Sfyrla, Head of Branding for VisitDenmark said: "We’re very honoured to be among the four finalists, who both geographically and in terms of size and scope of the entries, range from wildly innovative low-budget promotional projects to ambitiously large-scale branding strategies. We’ll aim at providing the 1,000 delegates in Shanghai with some great learnings from our MINDblowing Meetings campaign and hope that they and the official ICCA jury will like our creative and innovative approach and cast their vote for us in Shanghai. But even more importantly we hope that our audience will feel an urge to stage their next meeting or congress in Denmark!"
In addition to the MINDblowing Meetings nomination for the Best Marketing Award, VisitDenmark’s long-term strategic collaborator, Wonderful Copenhagen Convention Bureau, has also been nominated for the ICCA Best PR Award 2013.
