Global DMC Partners (GDP), the global resource for virtual, hybrid and in-person events, has announced its newest DMC partner: Sunbound, serving the Bahamas. Founded in 1984, Sunbound is the Bahamas’ most experienced, largest and progressive DMC specialising in meetings, incentives and conferences.
“In addition to an ideal Caribbean location that is seeing a rapid post-pandemic rebound, we were drawn to Sunbound’s one-stop-shop capabilities, local connections and creativity,” said President and CEO of Global DMC Partners Catherine Chaulet. “With a high level of expertise, their team is well-versed in handling entire program logistics to deliver the highest quality services and creativity to our clients. We are proud to now have Sunbound as one of our valued partners.”
Sunbound’s on-island commitment includes an administrative office and production warehouse in Nassau to provide a complete one-stop event resource for theme décor, audio visual needs, stage production, entertainment, linen and centerpiece rentals, as well other various event needs such as airport transportation, activities, dine-arounds and teambuilding events. A full-time staff of 12 professionals, plus more than 55 freelance and production staff, is dedicated to consistently delivering exceptional service. Sunbound is a preferred partner at top island resorts including Atlantis Resort and Casino, The Ocean Club, a Four Seasons Resort and Baha Mar Resorts.
The team can offer local island experiences including cigar rolling, wine tasting and cheese pairing, premium rum tasting and even chocolate-making in a chocolate factory. Teambuilding activities can include water-based scavenger hunts, Lego-man building, boat and bike building. Sunboud also partners with local organisations such as Salvation Army, Ranfurly Home for Children, Bahamas Humane Society and others to plan community service and CSR events that allow teams to lend a helping hand and give back to the islands.
