The International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC) will be held in Tokyo in October 2029 and will be hosted by the Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers (JUSE). This prestigious event will attract 2,000 participants from almost 20 countries and regions for a lively gathering.
ICQCC has been held annually since 1976 and is coming to Tokyo for the 7th time, reflecting an outstanding track record in quality control circles. Quality Control Circles were first conceptualised in Japan in 1962 before spreading to the rest of Asia, and the 2029 event will be another milestone in this rich history.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau fully support ICQCC 2029, which provides generous financial subsidies and in-kind support, such as Tokyo City Tours for overseas delegates.
