The seafront hotel, slated to open in early 2026, will be at scenic St. George’s Bay.

The Hard Rock Hotel Malta will pay homage to the original 19th-century British military accommodation quarters it is built on top of. The hotel will feature 370 rooms, with 110 suites offering balcony views of the Maltese seaside. It will be part of a new mixed-use development called db City Centre, which includes a shopping mall, luxury residences and modern office spaces.

Hard Rock Hotel Malta will be located in a highly sought-after part of the popular tourist spot of St George’s Bay. Called St. Julian’s, the area is soon becoming a favourite among tourists and locals.

The famed Hard Rock International manages the property, which is known for its Cafes and Hotels worldwide. The hotel will have multiple high-end food and beverage establishments, including a multi-course signature restaurant and a rooftop lounge with a Skybar. Additional amenities include several pools, a 16,000-square-foot full-service spa, and a fitness centre.

The hotel will also cater to business and leisure travellers and will be fully equipped to host various events and groups. Over 37,000 square feet of planned function space, including the largest convention centre on the island, will be available.

The architects behind the project are MYGG Architecture, while the interiors were handled by Jestico + Whiles.
