After the Arab Emirates, North America and Brazil, the Italian Exhibition Group’s ongoing expansion has now led them to Germany with the foundation of IEG Deutschland, a subsidiary of the Italian expo and conference group. A strategic choice that, for IEG, will represent a driving force for growth in terms of opportunities for relationships and business in one of the world’s major expo markets.
In the context of an important process of internationalisation already launched by the group – just a week ago IEG announced its arrival in North America with Deutsche Messe (Hanover) – in fact, the opening of IEG Deutschland has set itself the objective of boosting Italian Exhibition Group’s presence in Germany, establishing relationships with players in the German association and business world and organising delegations of German exhibitors and visitors attending the major IEG expos in Italy.
Thomas Grenot will be at the head of IEG Deutschland, in the role of Country Manager. He was born in France in 1977, and after obtaining two Masters, in Commerce and Sales and Marketing respectively, he specialised in the organisation of professional events for the sports sector. After moving to Germany in 2004 he began working for Germany’s major expo players in the role of marketing and promotion manager.
IEG Deutschland’s operations will also require new on-site professionals to support Grenot in the growth of its activities.
