Two new hotels with 1,000 rooms in the first phase, with the long-term goal of 5,000 rooms reinforcing Muang Thong Thani as a leading international MICE hub.

Impact Exhibition and Convention Center, Thailand’s largest MICE venue, has announced a major expansion plan to strengthen its position as a global destination for meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions. The project includes the development of two new hotels, with at least one under the Hilton brand, adding 1,000 rooms in its first phase.

The investment, estimated at around 79–132 million Euro, forms part of a long-term strategy to increase Muang Thong Thani’s accommodation capacity to 5,000 rooms within five years. The development will support the growing demand from international organisers and visitors as Thailand attracts larger events and global entertainment shows.

Currently, Impact operates two on-site hotels: the Novotel Bangkok Impact with 380 rooms and the Ibis Bangkok Impact with 587 rooms. The addition of a Hilton property and its sister hotel will further expand the hospitality portfolio, offering international standards and greater choice for delegates and guests.

This expansion also aligns with Thailand’s ambition to advance a 2,6 billion Euro entertainment complex mega-project, enhancing the nation’s competitiveness in global business events and tourism.

This is a transformative step for Impact and for Thailand’s MICE industry By partnering with Hilton, Impact is raising the standard of accommodation and positioning itself as a fully integrated destination capable of hosting the world’s most prestigious events.

With more than 140,000 square meters of event space, state-of-the-art facilities, and a growing hospitality offering, Impact is set to further solidify its status as Thailand’s premier hub for international business events and entertainment.
